Albacete is a south-eastern Spanish town, perfect for those fascinated by architecture. Although a modern city, Albacete is full of incredible renaissance, and Gothic style buildings. Also the largest town in Castilla-la-Mancha, it’s situated in a very flat area, the name Albacete, comes from old arab and means the plain, not too far from the Balearic sea. The region is economically independant and famous for it’s gorgeous weather and festivities.
Albacete is a lovely town to visit, first of all because of it’s Mediterranean climate, and the festivities that take place all year round, but also because of the friendly atmosphere and the high standard of living. Remember that prices are low and that the location is splendid !
